This is a story of a girl who has spent her life moving from one place to another since her mother believes that monsters are after them. When her mother thinks the monsters are close, she is torn away from once again from their home and is moved to London with her friend who is just staying for the summer with them. One night in London, her and her friend are kidnapped from their beds from shadow like creatures. They are taken to a completely new world, Neverland. The main character is saved by a man who is the captain of a boat, Captain Hook. Throughout the book, she must choose between trusting Peter Pan, or Captain Hook.
