Sunday Post

Sunday Post is a weekly meme that is hosted by  Kimberly @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Hello, everyone! I hope you all had a great week! ;D This week was a little crazy. I didn't get much reading done this week. :( I did read a bit of Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs but, I decided to DNF it. I wasn't really interested in it and didn't really like the writing style :( So at the moment, I am now reading The Rose and the Dagger, and hopefully I will be able to finish next week.
Let's dive right in! ;D

Books Read This Week

Like I said, I didn't finish any books this week. I read a little bit of Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs, but I just decided to DNF it. I just could not get into it. :'(

  1. The Miss Peregrine's book didn't really appeal to me but I am looking forward to the movie, after seeing the trailer I thought it looked pretty good.

    1. Same! I wanted to read the book because of the movie was soon going to come out but, I just couldn't get into it. :( Thanks for reading!!

  2. You know, it's SUPER interesting to me how many people I've seen decide to DNF (or finished, but didn't like) Miss Peregrine's. Given how many other people rave about it...It's just surprising, I guess! (I am one of those who finished the book, buuuuut didn't love it like I expected to.)

Sounds like you had a fairly relaxing, laid-back week--that's great! Hopefully next week's just as great for you!

Here's my Sunday Post this week, if you're interested in checking it out! Either way, happy book-ing to you!

  3. I think it's great that people DNF books that are essentially wasting their (reading) time.
